Long rides across the Philippines always test your patience and your gear. The Lakbay Gumande Visayas Rollout wasn’t a staged promo run; it was a gritty, 880-kilometer road test meant to see how these tires handle our island geography—and to meet the local communities keeping our motorcycle culture alive.

Getting out of Metro Manila on the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26) was the usual headache, creeping through bumper-to-bumper city traffic. But once past Southern Tagalog, the 540-kilometer stretch down to Sorsogon opened up into Bicol’s sweeping, rain-slicked mountain passes. It turned out to be the perfect spot to feel how the rubber holds on wet asphalt. Reaching Matnog Port meant facing the inevitable: sitting in long staging lines before boarding the ferry to Samar. Back on two wheels in Leyte, the crew cut across the iconic 2.16-kilometer San Juanico Bridge, leaning into strong coastal winds all the way into Tacloban.

Between the long saddle hours, the trip was anchored by key community stops:

Tacloban City (ESE Automoto): Rolling up to Maharlika Highway in Brgy. 92 Apitong, the team hosted their first dealer presentation to break down the tech behind the compound. Right after, the Traction Masters took over the pavement for a raw safety stunt display.

Ormoc City (Biker Bay): A 100-kilometer push over mixed concrete and patched mountain curves brought the group to War Veterans Avenue. Here, they tapped local ambassadors and ran another round of stunt demos to show what the tires can take.

Cebu City (Makina Motoshow): After a seven-hour sea crossing, the team dove straight into Metro Cebu’s dense grid for the show, hanging out with riders at the booth and handing out fresh tire sets.

Ending the run at Moto-Prestige Corporation in Cebu set the stage for pushing further into Bais, Bacolod, and Iloilo. It was a long journey, but it proved one thing: these tires are more than ready for the Visayas traffic network.
