The LTO Irosin District Office, in cooperation with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), Municipality of Irosin, conducted a free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) Seminar. The celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 was conducted among the youth on August 14-15. Road safety and responsible driving habits were discussed among the youth.
Participants received guidance on traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices. This is to further prepare the local community for responsible ownership of a driver’s license. Local officials emphasized that early education is key to building discipline in using the roads and reducing traffic-related incidents.
The joint initiative aligns with directives from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and LTO. This leadership aims to make driver education accessible at the municipal level. Engaging young drivers with this program helps improve road safety, traffic management, and overall mobility across traffic networks.
