Mitsubishi PH unveils the All-New Outlander PHEV with 306 PS, S-AWC 4WD, 1,000km total range, and Php 2,749,000 intro pricing.
Range anxiety remains a real concern for many Filipino drivers who want to step into electric mobility. Knowing that charging hubs across the country are still catching up, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) introduced a practical alternative during its recent media launch—the All-New Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.

MMPC President and CEO Ritsu Imaeda pointed out that the brand’s updated flagship model is engineered to deliver “the power of both worlds.” The powertrain links a 2.4-liter MIVEC gasoline engine with front and rear electric motors, generating a healthy 306 PS and 450 Nm of torque. You can cover roughly 100 kilometers on purely electric power for daily city driving. When you head out on long-distance highway runs, the gas engine kicks in to extend total range to nearly 1,000 kilometers.
Drivers can choose between four EV modes: Normal, Save, Charge, and EV Priority. The vehicle charges via standard AC Type 2 ports, but if no charger is in sight, it simply runs as a self-charging hybrid.

For tough road conditions, Product Planning AVP Alan Nicolas Cruz broke down the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) twin-motor 4WD system. It manages torque distribution, braking, and stability across seven distinct drive modes, including Tarmac, Gravel, Mud, and Snow.

Inside, the cabin features light gray leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch display supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Head-Up Display, and an 8-speaker Yamaha audio setup.
