The province was among the hardest-hit areas when Typhoon Tino struck in November 2025, causing unprecedented flooding and widespread damage to vulnerable communities. The relief packs, which included canned goods, drinking water, and a sack of rice, were prepared to support the recovery needs of underprivileged families still rebuilding months after the disaster.
