VinFast’s new IP67-rated e-motorcycles handle deep floodwaters, rough potholes, and tough monsoon weather across the Philippines.

Riding through Philippine streets during monsoon season usually means dealing with drowned engines and ruined commutes, but VinFast wants to change that story. The rising EV brand introduced its latest e-motorcycle lineup—the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper—specifically tuned for local weather headaches and rough road conditions.
The big selling point here is an IP67-rated motor setup. In plain English? The vital electronics stay completely dry even if you have to push through half a meter of standing floodwater for up to 30 minutes. VinFast also reinforced the battery casing to handle constant jolts from deep potholes, while the outer components underwent 500 hours of salt-spray testing so high humidity won’t rust the frame.
These two-wheelers hold up on daily performance, too. Dual removable 1.5 kWh batteries give the Evo a range of up to 150 km, while the Feliz II and Viper hit top speeds near 90 km/h. Supported by 21 initial dealerships and up to a six-year warranty, VinFast promises up to 28% in total savings over traditional gas bikes—giving local riders a sensible, flood-ready way to switch to electric.
