Art in Motion: BMW’s Iconic Collection Celebrates 50 Years with Worldwide Exhibitions and New Artistic Ventures

Celebrating 50 years, the BMW Art Car Collection embarks on a global tour, showcasing iconic vehicles transformed by renowned artists. The tour features works by Lichtenstein, Warhol, and Mehretu, whose 20th Art Car, a BMW M Hybrid V8, will travel to Art Basel Hong Kong. Beyond exhibitions, BMW launches new art products and collaborations, including a Mehretu-designed book and fashion line. The collection, born from Hervé Poulain’s vision in 1975, highlights the intersection of art, technology, and automotive design, with events planned worldwide through 2026.
