Yamaha Motor Philippines launches the all-new Mio Gear S, an entry-level 125cc hybrid scooter built for tough city commuting.
Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has officially launched the All-New Mio Gear S, an entry-level 125cc automatic scooter engineered specifically for the demands and unpredictability of daily urban commuting. Departing from traditional corporate product launches, Yamaha introduced the motorcycle through a high-octane fitness event. It highlights its core design pillars – functionality, adaptability, and toughness.

This activity demonstrates how the vehicle seamlessly handles packed schedules. Yamaha introduced Southeast Asian Games athletes and digital creators Pauline Lopez and Kyle Jimenez as its official brand ambassadors.

The scooter introduces five critical upgrades and performance specifications aimed at the young generation of riders. First, it features a specialized 3-Point Strategic “Scratch Protect” Armor. Located at the tandem steps, leg shields, and footboard sides that safeguard panels against scuffs during heavy daily use. Second, it is driven by an efficient Blue Core Hybrid Engine.
This provides a smooth, rapid power surge through traffic while maximizing thermal efficiency. Third, an intelligent Stop & Start System (SSS) automatically cuts engine power during prolonged idles. Best used on the daily red-light traffic of the Metro. It eliminates fuel waste and seamlessly restarts upon throttle twist.
Fourth, the model steps up its layout with a Modern Digital Meter Panel. For instantaneous data readouts, it is paired with an Answer Back Key system that makes locating the vehicle simple in crowded parking areas. Finally, the scooter expands its everyday utility. It incorporates an Electric Power Socket for mobile charging. An aggressive LED headlight setup with hazard lights for harsh weather visibility. The robust tubeless tires absorb pavement fractures. And an expanded 5.1-liter fuel tank that matches the 125cc engine capability.

Offered in a highly versatile Ceramic Gray, Basalt Gray, and Matte Brown color scheme designed to complement any daily aesthetic. The all-new Yamaha Mio Gear S is officially priced starting at ₱81,900. It is now available at all authorized Yamaha partner dealerships, 3S Shops, and multi-brand motorcycle outlets nationwide.
