Ducati Philippines unleashes the lighter, sharper Monster V2, packing over 30 years of raw naked-bike heritage into one machine.
The bike that practically invented the modern sport-naked segment just got a serious refresh. Ducati Philippines has officially landed the all-new Monster V2, building on three decades of bare-bones attitude, sharp Italian design, and pure road presence.

Back in ’93, the original Monster flipped the script by ditching full fairings for raw mechanical grit: a big engine, a minimalist frame, and an aggressive, upright stance. The V2 stays true to that original recipe while bringing modern engineering into the mix.
At its core sits the 937cc Testastretta 11° twin, putting down a punchy 111 horsepower and 93 Nm of torque. Ducati paired that engine with a Panigale-inspired aluminum front frame, shedding excess weight to keep the bike nimble. That weight cut makes a real difference whether you’re lane-splitting through EDSA, hitting the twists up in Marilaque on a Sunday morning, or committing to the racing line at the racetrack.

The V2 also comes loaded with modern rider aids to keep all that power usable:
- Cornering Electronics: Leaning-sensitive ABS, traction control, and wheelie control to keep things planted.
- Gear Shifts: An up/down quickshifter for smooth, clutchless clicks through the gearbox.
- Cockpit Tech: A clear 4.3-inch TFT display to tweak your riding modes on the fly.
