MotoMarket, Libis – The transition from casual track enthusiast to competitive racer just got a lot smoother. MotoCamp Riding School has officially announced the launch of the MotoCamp Racing Cup. The race will be at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) on June 6–7, 2026. This marks a significant milestone for the local motoring community. It will offer a structured pathway for riders looking to move beyond simple track days.

Recognized by MORAC, FETAP, and SBRA

Sanctioned under MORAC (Motorcycle Racing Championships) and adhering to FETAP and SBRA regulations, the event is built on the foundation of safety and technical discipline. Founded by commercial pilot and racer Coach Che Estepa, the school’s curriculum draws heavily from aviation standards. “In flying, consistency and discipline are everything,” Coach Che noted during the press launch. “We’ve implemented those same rigorous standards. It includes a 200-hour observation requirement for our coaches. This ensures our racing environment is as safe as it is fast.”

Class Structure and the 120% Rule

To ensure a level playing field, the Cup features three distinct categories:

  • Women’s Cup: A dedicated class for female athletes.
  • Rookie Cup: For riders with zero prior racing experience.
  • MotoCamp Cup: For those with some experience who are still in the beginner phase.

A standout feature of the event is the 120% Qualifying Rule. This rule is borrowed from international racing standards like MotoGP. This places riders who fall outside 120% of the leader’s lap time into a separate “Wave Grid.” This minimizes chaos on the track and allows everyone to compete within their own skill bracket.

Getting Race Ready

Technical integrity is non-negotiable. Partnering with Overrev Tuning and Overdrive Moto, the event requires thorough bike inspections. Scrutineering level covers everything from brake pad thickness to bearing play.
