Supported by a ₱7-billion investment commitment from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, MMPC aims to bolster the country’s manufacturing capabilities, strengthen the local supply chain, and accelerate vehicle electrification. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) welcomes the issuance of the Electric Vehicle Incentive Strategy (EVIS) Executive Order, which represents a significant step toward accelerating vehicle electrification, strengthening local automotive manufacturing, and supporting the continued growth of the Philippine automotive industry.
In line with this national direction, MMPC will participate in the program through Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s PhP 7-billion investment to locally produce hybrid electric vehicles in the Philippines.
