Hulyo 25, 2025 – Kasunod ng masamang panahon at pinalakas na hanging habagat na nanalasa sa ilang bahagi ng Metro Manila, Cavite, at Laguna, ang Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South), isang unit ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), ay naglunsad ng agarang relief operations para tugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga apektadong komunidad sa paligid ng Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) at Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

Ang MPT South ay mabilis na nakipag-ugnayan sa mga local government units ng expressways’ alignment communities upang ipamahagi ang kabuuang 3,000 relief packs sa mga pamilyang pansamantalang inilikas dahil sa malawakang pagbaha. Inihayag din ng kumpanya ang plano nitong mamahagi ng tulong sa mga drivers at operators ng public utility vehicle (PUV) na bumibiyahe sa pamamagitan ng CAVITEX at CALAX na ang kabuhayan at mobility ay naantala dahil sa ilang araw ng walang tigil na pag-ulan.
