Filipino Motorbikers Prepare for Grueling Mongolia MotouRally, Betting on Strategy Over Speed
Local motorbikers are gearing up for the Mongolia MotouRally 2025 after a media launch on September 6. The expedition, set for September 24-28, will see eight Philippine teams with 24 riders navigate the challenging Mongolian terrain. Unlike a traditional race, the goal is to complete the five-stage course with the shortest combined distance. With riders preparing for the mental and physical challenges, team leaders emphasized the mission to win and bring pride to the Philippines on the international stage.

A media launch was held on September 6, 2025, at Imprint Customs via livestream, attended by the people behind the Mongolia MotouRally, which is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 28, 2025.
The Mongolia Motorally 2025 will make its presence felt with a new and exciting event platform. This time, we are betting on all fronts to deliver what these riders expect during their expedition in Mongolia.
A total of 8 teams, Team TLR 1, Team TLR 2, Team TLR 3, Team RFS/Advenduro, Team Gone Golia, Team Pirata 1, Team Pirata 2, Team SEC -ASMAX Adventure, each with 3 members, will take on a series of timed challenges, which will be undisclosed to the participants until the day of the competition.
MotouRally is a fusion of Tour and Rally; each team must carefully plan their routes, because the goal is not to be the fastest, but to finish with the shortest distance combined over 5 stages. Every Kilometer Counts, Every Decision, and Teamwork Counts!
During the Question and Answer, the riders were asked why they joined and their preparation. They said it was a challenge, and for them, this will give them a broader experience of adventure riding. They also thank their sponsors for supporting them. Most of them will experience the Mongolian terrain for the first time.
Mark Soong, as the Team Leader of Pirata 1, who has experienced the vast terrain of Mongolia six times, also reminded the teams to prepare not just mentally, but more so physically, and encouraged everyone to do cardio exercises, as the weather is really challenging.
While Don Joseph told everyone not just to prepare their gear, but to take this competition seriously, that Team Philippines is not there to play and have fun, but to win and put our flag on the International Podium. This has been a long-held dream of FJMOTO Enduro, and this is the first time we are finally competing internationally with the largest foreign delegation. Be there not for anything else but to give pride to our country. He also mentioned that, since all the teams are aware of the FJ Mountaincross Discipline, he is hopeful that Team Philippines will also carry that discipline in Mongolia.
