Riders as Responders: A New Project Empowers Motorcycle Riders with Life-Saving First Aid Skills.
The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong East has launched the Rider Responde Project, a new initiative to empower motorcycle riders as first responders. In partnership with the Mandaluyong LGU and private supporters like Jabbre Technologies, the project will train 100 local riders in basic and advanced first aid. The goal is to equip riders with life-saving skills, enabling them to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. This program aims to create a network of “everyday heroes” on the road, ensuring that help is always available and building a safer, more responsive community.

RIDER RESPONDE PROJECT KICKS OFF TO EMPOWER MOTORCYCLE RIDERS AS FIRST RESPONDERS
OFFICIAL RELEASE: Jabbre Technologies | PUBLISHER: ADVAI
Rotary Club of Mandaluyong East, in partnership with LGUs and key private supporters, launches a life-saving initiative for the riding community.
The Rider Responde Project officially kicks off on September 13, 2025 (Saturday), from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Mandaluyong City Hall (Blue Building) – bringing together civic leaders, emergency response professionals, and motorcycle riders for a day of empowerment, training, and advocacy.
This initiative, under the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong East and in collaboration with Councilor Leslie Cruz, and facilitated by Dr. Alexandrei Amante MD, DPCOM, RMT and Wilchard Llanario Jr, RN, with private partners including Jabbre Technologies, aims to train 100 motorcycle riders in Mandaluyong with both basic and advanced first aid skills. The focus: disease prevention and treatment – but more importantly, preparing riders to be first on the scene when seconds matter most.

By equipping everyday riders with life-saving skills and tools, the Rider Responde Project transforms them into everyday heroes, building a safer and more responsive community – one where help is never far behind. This is Rotary in action: empowering people, saving lives, and creating lasting change.
As part of the support network behind the project, Jabbre Technologies, a proudly Filipino brand known for its rider intercom systems, joins hands with advocates to ensure connectivity, safety, and communication are accessible to all on the road.
With minimal costs covered by committed partners and volunteers – including snacks, hydration, and materials for 120-150 participants – the heart of this project lies in its impact: riders ready to respond, lives ready to be saved.
Join us as we roll out the first leg of Rider Responde and build a future where every ride could be a rescue.
