The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team showcased remarkable grit at the Asia Road Racing Championship in Indonesia. Rider McKinley Kyle “The Wonderboy” Paz climbed from P12 to secure back-to-back P6 finishes, moving up to 5th overall in the SS600 category. In the UB150 class, EJ “The Android” Sobretodo consistently earned points with two P12 finishes. Despite challenges, April King “The Rocket” Mascardo demonstrated unyielding spirit. The team’s performance highlights the Filipino racing community’s resilience and determination on the international stage.

The Wonderboy Strikes with Consistency in SS600
McKinley Kyle “The Wonderboy” Paz delivered another outstanding performance in the SS600 Category, displaying the consistency that has made him one of the region’s most respected riders. Starting from P12 on the grid, Paz charged through the pack to secure back-to-back P6 finishes in Race 1 and Race 2. He has improved his overall standing from 7 th place to 5 th place.

In the UB150 Category, EJ “The Android” Sobretodo showed his trademark discipline and consistency. From a P22 grid start, Sobretodo battled fiercely across both races, securing P12 finishes in Race 1 and Race 2.
