BJ Mercantile Inc. (BJM) has significantly expanded its automotive portfolio by partnering with Vietnamese automotive giant THACO. BJM will now be the official distributor for THACO trucks and buses in the Philippines, strengthening its presence in the commercial vehicle market. This collaboration, aligning with BJM’s commitment to providing reliable transport solutions, brings THACO’s durable and fuel-efficient vehicles, designed for tropical climates, to the Philippine market. The deal adds THACO to BJM’s growing roster of automotive brands, including Scania and Fuso.

BJ Mercantile Inc. (BJM), one of the country’s leading conglomerates, has significantly expanded its automotive portfolio through its partnership with Vietnamese automotive powerhouse THACO. Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), BJM will become the official sales, service, and parts distributor of THACO trucks and buses in the Philippines.

This new development enables BJM to continue to expand its presence in the commercial vehicle space by offering more choices to its loyal customers. Over the years, it has built a reputation for excellent after-sales service, technical expertise, and strong relationships.
