inDrive champions holistic driver well-being through Wellness Day Initiative

OFFICIAL RELEASE: inDrive Philippines | PUBLISHER: ADVAI
Manila, 16 October 2026 – As drivers continued to play an essential role in keeping Filipinos moving, inDrive highlighted the people behind the wheel with its Driver Wellness Day, a dedicated initiative focused on supporting drivers’ health, well-being, and livelihood beyond the platform.
The recently held initiative brought together inDrive drivers for a day centered on their overall well-being, combining on-site medical checkups, physical and mental wellness activities, livelihood support, and community engagement.
At the heart of the initiative was access to basic healthcare services, giving drivers an opportunity to prioritize their health alongside their daily work. Participating drivers received physical examinations and doctor consultations, along with vital-sign checks covering blood pressure, heart rate, BMI, and blood sugar.

“Our drivers spend their days making sure that others get where they need to go, so we wanted to create a space where they could take a step back and focus on themselves. Through our Wellness Day, we wanted to remind our drivers that their health, well-being, and livelihood matter to us. By bringing essential health services, wellness activities, and practical resources closer to them, we hope to support them not only on the road but in their everyday lives as well,” said Vanessa Taqueban, Country Driver Operations Lead, inDrive Philippines.
| Beyond physical health, drivers also took part in sessions focused on supporting their mental and financial well-being. |
Beyond physical health, inDrive also addressed drivers’ mental and financial well-being. Drivers joined a group Zumba session, while mental health speaker Darwin Magpili led a workshop offering practical guidance on maintaining mental well-being while working on the road.
A livelihood workshop likewise provided drivers with practical information and resources on financial and livelihood opportunities, recognizing that supporting the driver community also means helping them navigate needs beyond their daily trips.
The day also gave drivers an opportunity to unwind and celebrate with the wider inDrive community. Alongside games and activities with mini-prizes, inDrive held a mobile phone raffle for participating drivers, giving selected drivers the chance to take home a new device.
The event was also graced by Sidd Mantri, Chief Product Officer of inDrive, who shared the company’s product vision and direction for the Philippines, including key product developments.
Through its Wellness Day, inDrive underscored its commitment to supporting drivers beyond the platform. By bringing healthcare access, wellness education, livelihood resources, and community engagement opportunities together in one initiative, inDrive gave its drivers a dedicated space to care for themselves, connect with others, and feel appreciated for the role they play in keeping communities moving.
