UNMR and VinFast Philippines Launch First E-Motorcycle Flagship Store at SM Mall of Asia

The launch brought together company heads, industry partners, media, and long-time UNMR brand ambassador JC Santos—all cheering on a shared goal to make electric commuting simpler, cheaper, and way more practical for everyday Filipinos. Representing UNMR Corporation were President Michelle Mojares-Fabie, Chairman of the Board Federico Vicente D. Cadiz, and VP for Operations Mel E. Mendoza. Joining them from VinFast eMotorcycle Philippines was CEO Niño Fabros, alongside SM Mall of Asia management.

Following the store blessing by Fr. Edson Estario and the classic showering of coins for good luck, executives sealed the partnership with the official signing of the Certificate of Authorization—making UNMR an authorized distributor of VinFast electric two-wheelers in the country.

During his opening speech, UNMR VP for Operations Mel E. Mendoza shared that the move is all about giving everyday commuters smart, eco-friendly rides built for local roads. VinFast CEO Niño Fabros added that switching to electric simply makes practical sense. Without gas expenses, fewer parts to maintain, and zero exhaust emissions—plus full backup for sales, service, and spare parts—these e-scooters are built to help everyday families and small businesses save real money on the road.

UNMR Marketing Support Officer Tomas Martin-Mojares closed the formal program with a toast, noting that the mall-based showroom allows Filipinos to experience, inspect, and evaluate electric two-wheelers firsthand before making the transition.

Visitors can now explore VinFast’s lineup of electric motorcycles—including the Evo, Feliz, and Viper series—at the new UNMR flagship location at SM Mall of Asia.
