Blending its classic heritage with cutting-edge technology, Lambretta Philippines held an intimate, exclusive launch event. Attended by Global CEO Walter Scheffrahn, President Ariane Arabella, and Philippine Chief Revenue Officer Stephanie Mariano. The brand showcased its vision for the future of urban mobility. The unveiling of the two highly anticipated masterpieces, the Lambretta Elettra and the Lambretta J200, premieres the ambience.
The spotlight firmly belonged to the Elettra. It is the Lambretta’s very first fully electric scooter. Inspired by the classic lines of the historic Lambretta LD. The Elettra represents a labor of love that recently won top honors at the prestigious EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. Scheffrahn shared a passionate behind-the-scenes look into its development. He reveals how the team took creative risk, including literally slicing off the side panels in the design room to capture the true, clean essence of a modern electric scooter.
“Other electric scooters have features, but they don’t have a heart,” Scheffrahn noted. “We wanted to make a difference and bring the real Lambretta soul into the electric era.”
Shifting gears from sustainability to retro lifestyle, the brand also pulled back the curtain on the Lambretta J2000. Conceived as a high-quality, entry-level model. The J2000 features a unique “beach and surfboard” design philosophy.
