Vietnamese EV trailblazer VinFast is redefining green mobility from its massive 335-hectare manufacturing complex in Hai Phong, Vietnam. Looking closer at its facility, it houses a dedicated area for cars, e-buses, R&D, and training, as well as its ultra-modern E-Scooter Manufacturing Shop. Standing out as a beacon of regional production power, its 31,000 square meters operates three cutting-edge production lines. It boasts 240 vehicles per hour, equivalent to 5,000 units daily, producing 1.2 million eco-friendly two-wheelers every year.
- The Body Shop: 100% automated frame welding handled by 25 advanced ABB Robots utilizing low-spatter CMT welding technology.
- The Paint Shop: 95% automation across its plastic and frame lines that integrates Asia’s most advanced environmental and waste treatment system for eco-friendly operations.
- The General Assembly: Japanese-imported line equipment with smart Atlas Copco tightening systems that automatically control torque forces to eliminate assembly defects.
Before the newly assembled e-scooters hit the road, it undergone End-of-Line (EOL) quality inspection using the state-of-the-art Italian equipment. The Quality Assurance (QA) inspection is a state-of-the-art Italian piece of equipment that follows Vietnamese TCVN 14.
