Wheeltek, Buendia, Makati, Philippines – May 1, 2025 – Wheeltek, the prominent motorcycle dealership in the Philippines, marked its 50th year in the motoring business. This celebratory event highlighted two significant achievements: the Wheeltek Philippine Loop Team Award, recognizing their completion of the 5,000 km motorcycle ride around the Philippines, and the launch of the limited edition Suomy helmet, specially designed for Wheeltek.

The Philippine Loop is a Department of Tourism-endorsed activity in motorcycle tourism that has grown to include both two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles. It’s an initiative designed to promote tourism in the Philippines by visiting key destinations via motorcycles or cars. Wheeltek fostered this opportunity to explore the country on two wheels and enjoy the diverse culture of the Philippines. Team Wheeltek was recognized for their successful navigation of these demanding routes. They showcased riding capability, endurance through varying weather conditions and challenging terrain, and navigational prowess across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Individual riders from the team, including Jerry Reyes, Mark Rambo, Matthew Phillips, Johnny Ortiz Ruiz, Joel Ortiz Luis, and Jach Roberto, received special accolades for their accomplishments.

Adding to the celebratory vibe was the launch of the limited edition Wheeltek-inspired livery of the Suomy helmet from Suomy Philippines. This is the top-tier S1- XR GP model, utilized in MotoGP and WSBK. Its shell construction is made from a triple carbon blend (carbon fiber, fiberglass, and aramid fibers) that boasts advanced safety features, including safety standard approvals from ECE and FIM homologation. Furthermore, the helmet’s design is inspired by MotoGP championship helmets, incorporating a gold base, black carbon fiber accents, and a red trim that symbolizes Wheeltek’s championship legacy and the passion for riding. In addition, the Wheeltek-Suomy helmet is produced in a limited run of only 50 units, exclusively available at Wheeltek.

The event drew personalities and executives from the motorcycling world, including notable figures such as Senator J.P. Ejercito, representatives from Neotech Motor Sales Corporation, Infiniteserve’s Suomy Philippines, the AFP, celebrity endorser Jack Roberto, and various prominent motorcycle riding groups from across the Philippines.
