TMP Foundation’s Mobi-Care program donates Toyota vehicles to Santa Rosa and Batangas to enhance healthcare delivery and community service mobility.
The Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) Foundation has launched Mobi-Care, a program designed to bridge gaps in public health through enhanced mobility. TMP donated four specialized vehicles—including Toyota Tamaraw utility vans and an ambulance—to local government units in Santa Rosa and Batangas City. These vehicles will support medical missions, patient transport, and the distribution of medical supplies. This initiative reinforces TMP’s commitment to community welfare by ensuring essential healthcare services reach over 750,000 residents more efficiently.

TMP Foundation introduces ‘Mobi-Care’ program to enhance basic health services in Santa Rosa and Batangas
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
SANTA ROSA CITY, LAGUNA, 15 December 2025 – Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) Foundation launches its new ‘Mobi-Care’ (“Mobility with Care”) program with the turnover of four (4) brand-new Toyota vehicles to the city governments of Santa Rosa and Batangas. These duly configured service vehicles are aimed at aiding the local governments in delivering public health services through enhanced mobility.

TMP Foundation’s ‘Mobility with Care’ (Mobi-Care) program integrates mobility-related solutions – both automotive and non-automotive – into community welfare to either bring essential needs and services closer to the people or mobilize people closer to their basic needs.
As a pilot initiative under this program and in line with its health pillar, the TMP Foundation donated Toyota vehicles to Santa Rosa and Batangas cities to reinforce the local governments’ delivery of healthcare services. The Santa Rosa City Health Offices (CHOs) I and II received one (1) unit of Toyota Tamaraw Utility Van each as a health service vehicle, while the Santa Rosa Community Hospital (SRCH) received one (1) unit of Type 1 Toyota Tamaraw Ambulance.
“This donation exemplifies Toyota’s continuing commitment to support the City of Santa Rosa in its efforts to further enhance healthcare services for its constituents,” said TMP Foundation president Jose Maria Aligada during the vehicle turnover with the city government of Santa Rosa.

TMP Foundation signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City Government of Santa Rosa to formalize the vehicle donation and its purposes. Earlier this month, TMP Foundation donated a brand-new Toyota Hiace unit to the City Government of Batangas, which will serve as a health service vehicle of the Batangas City Health Office.

Enhancing Healthcare
The Santa Rosa CHOs cater to nine (9) barangays each and serve around 400,000 Santa Rosa City residents combined. The Batangas CHO serves more than 350,000 residents from the one hundred five (105) barangays in Batangas City.
With the mandate for healthcare workers to provide on-site health services in communities and when new health issues arise, programs are introduced, and efficient transportation for the healthcare workers is crucial to implement and raise awareness of these initiatives. Through TMP Foundation’s donation, the service vehicles will support the CHOs’ public health activities, including patient transport, delivery and distribution of medicines and medical supplies, deployment of health workers to communities, medical missions, vaccination drives, among others.
The SRCH is a Level I hospital with approximately 5,000 to 6,000 patient admissions annually. A growing volume of these patients is transported to the facility for basic care or to a higher-level hospital for advanced treatment when needed. The retrofitted Tamaraw Ambulance will help provide timely and uninterrupted support to these mobility needs.

The ‘Mobi-Care’ is another program that demonstrates the synergy between TMP Foundation’s ‘Mobility+’ and ‘Health’ advocacy pillars after the earlier launched ‘HEAL Project,’ which is also designed to address gaps in the health sector as announced in July 2025.
The Ty-led TMP Foundation has served as the social and humanitarian arm of Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation for over 35 years. It implements Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives divided into five (5) key areas of health, education, environment, community service, and mobility.
