Santo Tomas Kicks Off Cityhood Celebration with Grand Ride and Nature Focus at the Encantierra Nature Park.
SANTA TOMAS, BATANGAS—The City of Santo Tomas officially launched its 6th Cityhood Anniversary celebration. With the ‘AJAM Breakfast Ride 2.0,’ the grand motorcycle event was held at the scenic Encantierra Nature Park in Barangay Santa Cruz.
The celebration saw the convergence of various riding clubs and enthusiasts. Actor and celebrity rider, JC Santos, converged from Santo Tomas Visitor’s Hub and served as the official kick-off for the city’s anniversary festivities. Mayor Arth Jhun A. Marasigan and Vice Mayor Catherine Jaurigue-Perez led the gathering. They emphasize the city’s commitment to community and tourism.

A key highlight was the address by Encantierra Nature Park owner, Atty. Rodolfo P. de Guzman. He shared a vision for the park to evolve into a “modern Garden of Eden.” A model for community-based environmental cooperation. Encantierra will feature plans for the country’s potentially largest bamboo chapel.

The celebration underscores Santo Tomas’s aim to strengthen its unity. This will further focus on making Santo Tomas a ‘Grow Zone’ development City. Furthermore, It will position the city as a significant destination for both tourism and responsible business in the coming years.
