Mitsubishi celebrates the “Delica Festival” at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, showcasing 11 rugged, customized Delica models and AXCR rally champions
TOKYO – Mitsubishi Motors is turning the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 into a rugged playground. Its “Delica Festival” theme will run from January 9–11 at Makuhari Messe. The exhibit features 11 customized vehicles designed to “unleash your playful spirit.” Centering on the versatile Delica D:5 minivan unleashes the spirit and charm of the Delica Mini kei-car.

The booth’s crown jewels are the Ultimate Gear editions. It boasts its lifted suspensions, rugged textured coatings, and off-road armor. For nature lovers, the Active Camper collaboration with LOGOS offers a premium wood-grain sanctuary on wheels. Retro fans will gravitate toward the Delica Mini x “DALI.” It pays homage to the legendary Pajero with a vintage grille and lighting.

Adding authentic grit to the festive atmosphere is the complete and adorable mascot Delimaru in a traditional happi coat. It is the championship-winning Triton rally car from the 2025 Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR). Alongside its Delica D:5 support vehicle is the Triton that serves as a reminder of Mitsubishi’s engineering pedigree. From the magma-red TOMICA 55th Anniversary Edition to the “Wild Adventure” builds, Mitsubishi proves that family-friendly utility and hardcore adventure are a perfect match.
