Metro Manila, Philippines – May 2, 2025 – The LTO takes a strong stance against road rage. This aligns with President Marcos’ road safety directives. The LTO issued a Show Cause Order (SCO). The recipient is popular motorcycle vlogger, “Yanna Vlog.” The SCO depicts the motorcycle vlogger, her actions in the incident that was uploaded to her social media account. This road rage video incident in Zambales shook the motorcycle community.

LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, stated that Yanna Moto Vlog, whom we have no intention to reveal her real name, will be required to explain why her driver’s license should not be suspended or revoked. The LTO is considering declaring her an improper person to operate a motor vehicle due to her alleged role in instigating the altercation.

“We have long been appealing to our millions of motorists that losing one’s temper on the road yields no positive outcome—and we have already penalized numerous individuals for this,” Asec. Mendoza emphasized. He further added, “On the part of this vlogger, she should have used her social media influence to promote responsible driving and road safety.”

The incident was monitored by the LTO Social Media Team and shows Yanna Vlog allegedly giving a middle finger gesture to the driver of a pick-up truck. This action stemmed from her claim that the pick-up driver was driving recklessly on an unpaved road and should be responsible for navigating roads. The video further shows the mild confrontation with the pick-up driver, who questioned why “he” (mistaken as a man but surprised that the rider is a lady) made a middle finger gesture while passing him on the right side of his vehicle. The pick-up driver further explained that normal driving was challenging due to the rough road conditions. Despite this explanation, Yanna Vlog reportedly continued to argue and allegedly made insulting remarks even after the pick-up driver had departed.

Transportation Secretary Vice Dizon previously pledged the government’s commitment to fight reckless and irresponsible driving for the safety of all road users. He further commits to fighting reckless and irresponsible drivers amid rising accidents and road rage. Despite Yanna Vlog’s gestures of a personal visit to the pick-up driver for a personal apology and a public apology on her social media pages, the agency is dedicated to continuing the investigation, holding all motorists accountable for their road behavior, regardless of their social media presence.
