Geely Philippines targets 7,000 sales in 2026, launching five new models and expanding its dealer network to over 40 locations nationwide
Following a record-breaking 2025 where Geely Auto Group sold 3.02 million vehicles globally, Geely Philippines is shifting from brand-rebuilding to an aggressive expansion. Senior Sales Director Joey Zhu announced a 2026 roadmap featuring five new models, including BEVs, PHEVs, and ICE variants. The offensive begins with a premium plug-in hybrid SUV in Q1. Aiming for 7,000 local sales, Geely is also expanding its network to 40+ dealers and tripling after-sales efficiency through its massive new 4,500-sqm parts warehouse.

After a Milestone 2025, Geely Philippines Maps Out 2026 with 5 New Models
As Geely closes a milestone year in the Philippines, the brand enters 2026 with renewed confidence, sharper direction, and a clear sense of where it is headed.
“2025 was special because it was Geely Group’s 39th anniversary, its 6th year in the Philippines, and the first year of Geely Philippines as a locally operating company,” Geely Philippines Senior Sales Director Joey Zhu said at a year-end event.
Last year’s momentum was underpinned by strong global performance. Under its renewed “One Geely” strategy, Geely Auto Group has aligned Geely, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co to “use resources more effectively,” a move that has already translated into record results.
In 2025, Geely Auto Group achieved total sales of 3.02 million vehicles, an increase of 39% year-over-year, setting a new historical record. Of this, new energy vehicle (NEVs) sales reached 1.68 million units for the full year, surging by 90% year-over-year and serving as a key driver of the group’s overall sales growth.
For the Philippine market, these numbers serve as more than corporate milestones. As Zhu noted, the surge in NEVs “gives us great confidence for 2026.”
That confidence is now translating into a concrete product roadmap. After officially beginning direct operations and introducing its first new energy vehicle, the EX5, Geely Philippines is setting the stage for its most expansive lineup yet. “We’re launching multiple new models across the year,” Zhu announced, revealing a portfolio that will span SUVs, hatchbacks, and sedans, powered by BEV, PHEV, and ICE technologies.

Geely Philippines will soon introduce a plug-in hybrid SUV—the first major model launch of the year 2026. It will bring Filipino customers a premium interior and exterior design, along with an industry-leading super hybrid system, emphasized Zhu.
“Our goal is 7,000 sales next year. To support this growth, we’re upgrading our dealer network. By next year, we expect over 40 dealers nationwide—better coverage, better service.”
Geely has already upgraded its local after-sales system by building a 4,500-sqm. parts warehouse; stocked about US$5 million worth of parts; and keeps 1.3 million SKUs in inventory.
“Working with our partners, we have tripled operational efficiency—faster service, higher first-time fulfillment rates, and better stock accuracy. In 2026, we will take after-sales to the next level—improving service quality, reach, and customer satisfaction.”
Geely’s relationship with its customers is something that is constantly enhanced as well. Among various events and promos, it launched Geely Owner Philippines, its official owner community, last September. Through this community, Geely supports local car clubs with online and offline events, exclusive benefits, direct communication, and fun experiences.
“If you’re a Geely owner, invite fellow owners to join—and even start your own local group,” Joey said. “Geely Owner Philippines is your home—and we’ll always welcome and support you.”
Geely’s rise in the Philippines has been both swift and sustained. Since the launch of the Coolray in 2019, it has firmly established itself as one of the country’s top automotive players, selling 9,300 units in 2022, ranking eighth overall, and maintaining its position as the No. 1 Chinese automotive brand in 2023.
In just six years, Geely has earned the trust of 30,000 Filipino customers—a figure the company does not take lightly. “That trust means everything to us,” Zhu emphasized, “and it gives us strong confidence as we prepare to bring exciting new models next year.”
