The first Bataan MotoFest 2025 drives moto-tourism and safety riding with the launch of the first International Riding Academy

ORANI, BATAAN – The inaugural First Bataan Adventure Moto Fest, held on October 11-12, 2025, at the expansive KDR Adventure Camp, concluded successfully. It signs a major boost for both Philippine motorcycle tourism and rider safety. The event, a partnership between Motorclyde International Inc and Manibela Innovations, drew a massive crowd. It confirms Bataan as a premier adventure destination.

A New Era for Rider Safety: International Riding Academy Launched

The festival’s highlight was the official launch of the International Riding Academy (IRA). This groundbreaking institution aims to standardize motorcycle safety training in the country and throughout Southeast Asia. The IRA will offer internationally aligned motorcycle safety programs and training at the KDR Adventure Camp, with specialized off-road courses from beginner to extreme levels. Its core mission is to certify riding club leaders and instructors, positioning the Philippines as the center of motorcycle training in Asia.

Government Support and Tourism Initiatives

The event featured strong government support from Senator JV Ejercito. He reported on legislative wins for the community, including the amendment of the “Double Plaka” law and the imminent clearing of the license plate backlog.

Sir Cesar Villanueva of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) reinforced this commitment, announcing plans to invite international motorcycle tour operators in November 2025. He also offered Department of Tourism training for IRA-certified riders to become licensed motor guides. This will further boost local tourism expertise.

Adventure and Charity: The Bataan Adventure Loop

The spirit of adventure was celebrated with the launch of the Bataan Adventure Loop. This new, single-day “Ride, Camp, and Charity” event on December 14, 2025, is open to all motorcycle displacements and will showcase Bataan’s rich heritage sites while supporting a chosen foundation.

With the establishment of the International Riding Academy, will the Philippines soon become the primary destination for riders across Asia seeking world-class safety certification?

The Moto Fest successfully showcased the powerful convergence of passion, safety, and tourism. It seta a high standard for future motorcycling events in the Philippines.
