MARCO BEZZECCHI
“It was a good day, with both FP1 and the practice session going well. I’m pleased with the improvements we have made, and the time attack went rather well too. There are still some areas where we need to work, but in the meantime, we achieved the goal of the day, which was to go straight through to Q2.”

LORENZO SAVADORI
“All told, it was a positive day. Unfortunately, I had a bad crash in the finale, but luckily I was able to get back on the track to make sure everything was okay. The bike is working well. We tested some of the upgrades which gave us positive feedback. Marco is fourth and I’m also close to the top-ten group, so the bike is progressively improving step by step, which is extremely positive.”

PAOLO BONORA
“Assen is a friendly track for both Aprilia and for Marco but, as always, we are continuing to work hard, focusing on some details that need improvement ahead of the Sprint Race. We achieved our goal of going through to Q2 and that is an extremely positive sign. Despite Lorenzo’s crash, we are optimistic about the development work he is doing.”
