Access Plus Racing confident at CIS as PSBK 2025 reaches halfway point
OFFICIAL RELEASE: Ducati Philippines | PUBLISHER: ADVAI
Access Plus Racing enters the halfway point of the 2025 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) with full confidence as the series returns to Clark International Speedway (CIS). The team has consistently delivered its strongest results at this circuit, presenting a prime opportunity for Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto and Troy Alberto to strengthen their hold in the title fight.
With 5 wins from 6 races aboard the Ducati Panigale V4, TJ Alberto leads the championship with 192.5 points—29 clear of his closest rival, Marvin Mangulabnan. The last time the series visited CIS for the season opener, TJ swept both races in a commanding performance that set the tone for his title defense. But despite his advantage, the title race is far from over, and he’ll need to stay sharp as pressure continues to mount.

Troy Alberto, meanwhile, sits 3rd in the standings with 127.5 points. While his campaign has been hampered by misfortunes, including a technical issue and a crash during the previous round at BRC, Troy has shown impressive pace in testing and is determined to bounce back. With renewed confidence, his focus now turns to reeling in Mangulabnan and challenging for 2nd in the championship.
The team has been hard at work preparing for the weekend, aiming to extract the most from a circuit where the Ducati Panigale V4 has traditionally excelled. With clear weather in the forecast, conditions are set for a dry and fast weekend of racing. Access Plus Racing will look to extend both their lead and their winning streak as the season enters its crucial second half.

Qualifying is scheduled on August 2 (Saturday) followed by Race 1 and Race 2 on August 3 (Sunday).
TJ Alberto, #77: “We’re coming into the halfway point of the season with a decent points gap. Even if this round only has a 1x multiplier, it’s still important to deliver consistent results every race. I’m feeling quite confident for this round. It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of this track, and I’m happy to report that I’ve been training really hard over the last month. I’m feeling quite strong heading into this race.”
Troy Alberto, #69: “We started strong in 2025, but the last two rounds haven’t gone our way. Still, we’ve been working hard in testing, and I’ve been giving it my all every time on track. The goal now is to close the gap to Marvin in the points and fight for 2nd overall by the end of the year. There’s still plenty of races ahead, and we’re committed to finishing strong.”
Toti Alberto, Team Principal: “With TJ having a comfortable points gap, our goal this weekend is to score as many points as possible and maintain that lead. Our focus now turns to giving Troy all the support he needs to regain the pace he showed during the season opener and get him up to 2nd in the championship race. I pray for a safe weekend for both TJ and Troy, and God-willing, we can score a 1-2 finish.”
