Xpress Paves Way for an EV-First Future that aims to provide a safer and more modern transportation option for residents
CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, PAMPANGA – September 23, 2025 – The Filipino-owned super-app Xpress has officially launched its 4-wheel ride-hailing services in Pampanga, marking its entry into Central Luzon. This major expansion advances the platform’s mission. A transport for Filipinos, by Filipinos, that deliver “smarter, safer, and more inclusive transport.
The launch ceremony, held in the Clark Freeport Zone, was attended by key regional officials. It highlights dignitaries’ strong public-private partnership. The event was attended by Gen. Richard Albano (LTFRB Region III), Gen. Lina Sarmiento (Clark Development Corp.), and Mr. Dante Basanta (Clark International Airport).

“This marks a significant shift in how we move people in and around Pampanga,” stated Gen. Albano. “Xpress introduces a model of partnership that addresses both accessibility and safety in local transportation.”

Pampanga commuters in Clark and Angeles City can now book sedan and SUV rides using the Xpress Super App. The Xpress Super App platform is focused on community impact. It offers modern features like Scan & Ride QR onboarding and Advance Booking. Alongside transparent fares with no surge pricing, it ensure affordability and safety to passengers. In addition, it aims to create stable new income streams for local Kapampangan drivers.
Xpress is focused on a sustainable future besides immediate convenience. The company has a long-term goal of achieving 100% Electric Vehicle (EV) operations nationwide by 2030. This vision is through strategic partnerships with known EV advocates in the country, BYD and AC Mobility. And Pampanga is being positioned as a key hub for early EV deployment.
