Yamaha Unveils New Aerox Models and Digital Loyalty Program at ‘The Edge of Speed’ Event
Makati, Philippines – Yamaha Motor Philippines has ignited the local mobility scene with its three-day showcase, “The Edge of Speed,” held at One Ayala, Makati. The event’s main highlight was the grand unveiling of the new Aerox and Aerox SP. This two new models is designed to embody the brand’s “spirit of challenge”. Delivering an exciting riding experience.
The new Aerox models feature a powerful 155cc blue-core engine, promising a more responsive and bold ride. Both the standard Aerox and the top-spec Aerox SP are equipped with a three-level traction control system. It also has a smart key for enhanced security and convenience. The SP variant (P163,900) includes additional high-tech features like smartphone connectivity and a built-in charger. This caters to the modern rider’s digital lifestyle. The standard Aerox is also available (P125,900) sharing the same spirit in enhancing digital lifestyle journey.
Beyond the new motorcycles, Yamaha introduced a significant digital initiative with the launch of the MyYamahaMotorWebPH app. This loyalty program aims to reward customer engagement. It allows users to earn points for transactions. It gives convenient access to a new motorcycle purchase, service and parts. In addition, updates to activities like referrals. These points unlock tiered rewards from Blue to Platinum levels. It offers special items, vouchers, and exclusive access to Yamaha events.
The event, which ran from August 1-3, also served as a stage to celebrate Yamaha’s extensive lineup, from the masterful MT series to the off-road machines and sports heritage bikes. According to Yamaha Motor Company’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Shinsuke Ida, the company’s goal is to go “beyond the daily” and provide “excitement that isn’t just felt on the road, but is at the heart of every Filipino’s life.”
