Suzuki Philippines and Rider Communities Join Forces for Charitable Endeavors in La Castellana, Bataan, and Beyond

Suzuki Philippines together with its riders, continue to champion community involvement and social responsibility through their recent philanthropic efforts. After a series of charity rides in La Castellana and Bataan recently, the motorcycle brand actively participated in two distinct charitable events this time hosted by two of the largest Suzuki riders clubs in the country – the Philippine Suzuki Riders Club (PSRC) Laguna Chapter and the Torque Riders Organization (Torque).

July 13, 2024 – Each year, PSRC eagerly looks forward to their Balik-Eskwela program, and this year, their journey took them to Casillon Elementary School in Brgy. Dulangan, Baco, Oriental Mindoro, where they had the privilege of reaching out to the Mangyan community. Witnessing the students’ enthusiasm for learning fueled PSRC’s commitment to education and youth development.

By distributing 187 school supply packs and 8 electric fans for the classrooms, PSRC hopes to make a real difference in the lives of these young minds. Their efforts aim to empower both the students and teachers, fostering a brighter educational environment for all.

Fueled by the same commitment to social responsibility as PSRC, the Torque Riders Organization held a charity ride to Brgy. Mat-i, Surigao City as part of their 5th-anniversary celebration. More than just a scenic journey, this event became an opportunity to support the indigenous Magbanwa tribe by distributing essential supplies.

Around 200 riders participated in the 5km convoy, arriving at a venue where 68 families gathered for the donation drive. The event coincided with Torque’s 5th Annual VisMin Convention, which also featured a Safety Riding Seminar hosted by the Suzuki Safety Riding Authority. The convention culminated in a grand raffle where a lucky club member won a brand new Raider F150 Fi, generously funded by Torque themselves.

These initiatives reflect Suzuki’s persistent commitment to its SHARE (Suzuki Helps, Aids & REbuilds) program as a way to pay it forward. Suzuki stays committed to provide support to clubs and riders in their efforts to positively impact communities across the Philippines.
