**110 Sulit Drivers Experience Why ‘Sulit ang Bawat Trip’ with the latest formulation of Shell FuelSave**

As Shell celebrates its 110th year of enriching Filipinos’ everyday journeys and the introduction of the latest Shell FuelSave formulation, Shell gathered 110 sulit drivers on a unique community road trip. With the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga as their starting point, diverse types of drivers took their vehicles out for a spin to experience that indeed, Sulit ang Bawat Trip with Shell FuelSave.

Shell FuelSave Brand Manager Vanessa Ejercito emphasized the importance of continuous product improvement for the motoring public, saying, “This latest formulation protects old, new, and hybrid engines for 4-wheel and 2-wheel engines, for diesel and gas.” She also added: “Shell FuelSave is all about fuel economy, it’s all about quality and providing value to our motorists; Shell is always committed to making it better.”

Shell Fuels scientist Tina Jia also offered insight into why Shell fuel research is an unrelenting process: “We need to continuously evolve our fuel formulations because engine technology is evolving. Modern engines work under harsher conditions, at higher temperatures, under higher loads.”

The overall theme of the event emphasized the importance of getting the right quantity and quality of fuel, just as all 110 vehicles of the Shell Sulit Drive got, resulting in great mileage. The afternoon marked both the completion of Shell’s fuel portfolio in the Philippines and the celebration of the company’s 110^th year in the country, in service of Filipino customers.

Every vehicle in the caravan was topped up with Shell FuelSave, at the start, and trip counters were reset to zero, after the 116 km drive from Clark to Shell SLEX, the cars were topped up again to calculate their exact mileage. The result, every vehicle in the caravan from an over 30 year-old sedan to vans from the early 2000s, to compact sedans and hatchbacks, to brand new performance pickups and SUVs, registered impressive mileage that surprised and delighted their owners.
