150 Aura’s Launch Hits Different

In an industry where motorcycle launches typically revolve around a grand reveal and a static display, CFMOTO Philippines chose to take a more unique, creative, fun, and experiential route for the debut of the 150 AURA.

Rather than simply unveiling the scooter on stage, the brand brought it to life through movement, creativity, and real-world storytelling. In partnership with Fujifilm Philippines, CFMOTO Philippines transformed the traditional media launch into an interactive Photoride experience — giving selected media and key opinion leaders the opportunity not just to see the 150 AURA, but to ride it, capture it, and interpret it through their own creative lens.

This approach reflected the very spirit of the 150 AURA itself: modern, expressive, and designed to stand out. By combining performance with photography, mobility with artistry, and technology with lifestyle, CFMOTO Philippines set the tone for a launch that was as dynamic and distinctive as the scooter it introduced.

The two-day media test ride, held on February 21 and 22, began with an in-depth media briefing at Pioneer X Studio, followed by the ride assembly at Habagat Coffee and Outdoor Lifestyle. During these days, Diego Jante, Marketing Manager of CFMOTO Philippines, led an in-depth media briefing. He explained the key features, core highlights, and what differentiates the 150 AURA from other retro scooters currently available in the local market.

The session highlighted the 150 AURA’s standout features and overall value proposition, focusing on its advanced technology, enhanced safety systems, smart connectivity features, and its well-balanced blend of classic design and modern engineering. The Photoride not only allowed media and KOLs to test the scooter firsthand but also empowered them to create authentic, lifestyle-driven content — aligning perfectly with the 150 AURA’s positioning as a scooter built for modern Filipino riders.

After the briefing, the first batch gathered at Habagat Coffee and Outdoor Lifestyle to experience the 150 AURA on an actual city ride, capturing dynamic on-the-road photos while testing its performance and handling. Each media representative and KOL was given creative freedom on where to produce their personal content with the AURA. Some headed to some areas in Makati City, Bonifacio Global City, Intramuros, and Binondo. Meanwhile, the second batch was left at the studio to conduct a styled photoshoot and content creation session with the 150 AURA.

With its powerful engine, refined styling, rider-friendly handling, and class-leading smart technology, the 150 AURA is poised to redefine expectations in the 150cc scooter segment.
